Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of Commercial in Princeton, NJ. The role includes calendar management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and cross-functional project support in a fast-paced biotech environment.

You will handle confidential communications, drafts, and travel planning while coordinating with internal/external stakeholders and assisting with recruiting activities. Some travel and office management tasks are involved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years executive assistant experience; at least 2 years supporting executives in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and document management.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Head of Commercial's calendar, appointments, meetings (onsite/virtual/offsite), and travel.
  • Prepare agendas; attend meetings; take minutes; track action items; ensure follow-up.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the Head of Commercial and stakeholders; manage correspondence.
  • Arrange off-site and multi-day meetings for small and large groups.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit communications, presentations, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects and coordinate recruiting support and onboarding.
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Organize logistics for conferences, advisory boards, scientific meetings, and internal events.
  • Manage/reconcile expense reports and procurement; liaise between CMO and executives/board members.
  • Back-up support to other Leadership Team members and office management tasks.
  • Use AI tools to improve productivity/quality. Less than 10% travel.

  • Coordinate recruiting support (interviews/debriefs) and onboarding for new hires.
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Organize logistics for conferences, advisory boards, scientific meetings, and internal events.
  • Manage/reconcile expense reports and procurement requests.
  • Liaise between CMO and executives/board members/key stakeholders.
  • Back-up support to other Leadership Team members; assist with office management tasks.
  • Use AI tools to improve productivity/quality. Less than 10% travel.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years executive assistant experience; at least 2 years supporting executives in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
Skills/Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and document management.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Discretion with confidential information. Familiarity with medical/clinical/regulatory terminology is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits (as listed)
  • Princeton, NJ: $60,693-$73,546.
