Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Milwaukee, WI. This role focuses on site preparation, trenching, grading and utility installation on commercial, industrial, and civil projects.

You will operate excavators, read plans and stakes, inspect equipment daily, and coordinate with crew members to meet project deadlines. OT opportunities and comprehensive benefits support a strong safety culture and career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating excavators in a construction environment.
• Experience with utility, site development, road construction, or earthmoving projects preferred.
• Ability to read grade stakes and blueprints.
• Knowledge of underground utility installation and excavation safety practices.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.

Excavator Operators Needed, OT Offered!

Pay: $25-$35/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime Available

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy equipment to perform site preparation, trenching, grading, utility installation, and excavation work on commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently on active construction sites.

• Excavate around underground utilities while maintaining safety standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating additional heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, skid steers, or rollers.
• GPS machine control experience is a plus.
• Understanding of excavation, grading, and earthwork principles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
