Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the Electromagnetic Warfare manufacturing team. You will own production test activities, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and work to meet production throughput while improving automation, data analytics, and user interfaces.

You will collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, develop test instruction libraries, and drive RCAs to resolve non-conforming hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system level to component level.
• Improve and sustain test systems to improve automation, consistency, and test coverage.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians and train on equipment use.
• Develop library of failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs.
• Analyze test data and document results to identify defects and improvement areas.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency without compromising quality.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Execute testing as required.
