Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Business Management Manager - Manager 2 to lead financial planning, cost control, and EVMS activities for critical programs. The role requires interfacing with program leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

The position emphasizes deep government contract knowledge, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in financial planning/reporting, strategic planning, cost proposals, project execution/management, contracts, pricing and/or budget controls and analysis.
• Active DoD TS and/or SCI Clearance Required to Start.
• Strong understanding of government contracting and regulations, including FAR and CAS.
• Experience with standard business systems (Costpoint/SAP, Cognos/IFAS, Cobra/MPM, MS Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning and control services for multiple contracts and programs.
• Conduct cost/schedule reviews and earnings reports for leadership.
• Lead and coordinate EVMS-related activities and program risk assessments.
• Support cost proposals and pricing strategies for new business.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and government audit requirements.
