Job summary

Collectors is seeking an Event Coordinator to join our Events team to support the planning and execution of all scheduled events — keeping deadlines, vendors, budgets, and onsite logistics on track from first booking through tear down. You’ll report to the Manager, Events and work from our Santa Ana, CA or Plano, TX office.

Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. If you live within an hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be onsite most of the time; this will be

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, or experiential events.

Responsibilities

• Manage deadlines for multiple events.
• Coordinate all event needs with vendors for signage, utilities, furniture, décor and related items.
• Track costs and report financial concerns.
• Keep event costs within budget and flag risks to the Event Director.
• Plan details and anticipate potential problems for each event.
• Create booth and room layouts including traffic flow and power placements.
• Travel to manage events onsite as needed.
• Audit event websites for accuracy of show details, pricing and services.
