Job summary

LPU Batangas in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Rentals Support Associate to book rental services for clients, coordinate operations, and assist with event setup and teardown according to Work Orders.

You will act as a primary contact for vendors, support equipment maintenance, and participate in security and safety procedures while collaborating closely with the Rentals Manager and events team. Evening and weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; able to learn Google Suites and Cogran.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand and walk ~70% of the time and perform tasks such as sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling materials, pulling, carrying, and pushing.
• Capability to lift materials and equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Effective eye-and-hand coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Book rental services for internal and external clients.
• Support operations and logistics for rentals, including event setup/teardown per Work Orders.
• Serve as contact for event vendors; assist with exhibit setup and closing.
• Assist with equipment maintenance as a backup to Rentals Assistant.
• Participate in security operations, including fire alarms and emergency situations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and composure in fast-paced environments.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Collaborate with Rentals Manager, Administrative Assistant, Rentals Assistant, Event Staff, and Facilities Department.
• Comply with safety-related operational policies.
