The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort is seeking a Full Time Events Manager to lead planning and execution of a range of events. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external managers to ensure details are perfect, from intimate gatherings to large meetings, while driving catering sales and community presence.

Ideal candidate combines hospitality passion with strong communication, organization, and revenue-generation skills to elevate the property’s events program on Jekyll Island.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event management or related field (1–2 years preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills for internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage event inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
• Plan and coordinate all event logistics and catering details.
• Prepare and distribute banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients before and during events.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
• Maximize revenue through catering sales and upselling opportunities.
