Job summary

The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort is seeking a Destination Sales Executive to join our Sales team. You will work with the Sales Office, Area Sales team, and hotel leadership to bring group business to life, identifying opportunities, coordinating site visits, and maximizing revenue while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with four years of sales/marketing/guest services/front desk experience.
• Two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management with two years of experience in sales/marketing or related area.
• Large group sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Book group events and identify new group and catering opportunities.
• Coordinate site inspections, Familiarization Tours and customer events.
• Support group sales promotions and grow existing accounts to meet revenue goals.
• Qualify leads, manage pre-planning visits and coordinate function space opportunities.
• Greet and assist clients onsite, coordinate special requests, and ensure smooth handoffs to Event Management.
