Sunriver Resort seeks a Conventions and Catering Services Manager to coordinate weddings and meetings at our Oregon resort. You will work with the Sales Department to meet and exceed contract expectations, supervise event delivery and ensure accurate BEOs and AV requirements.

This role emphasizes building strong client relationships, overseeing planning meetings, liaising with resort staff and outside vendors, and delivering exceptional service aligned with Sunriver Resort's core values.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer a four-year degree.
• Minimum 3 years in a catering/conventions manager role.
• Experience coordinating weddings, meetings and events.

Responsabilités

• Works with sales to achieve weddings, social events and group meetings goals.
• Provides overall direction and evaluation of weddings, meetings and events.
• Establishes rapport with planners and clients.
• Coordinates set-ups, meal arrangements and facility needs with clients.
• Communicates with resort staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Plans and leads pre-convention meetings.
• Reviews billings and explains expenses to clients.
• Collaborates with vendors to meet client expectations.
• Generates detailed BEOs and coordinates event details with staff.
