Job summary

Sunriver Resort is seeking a Conventions and Catering Services Manager to coordinate guest and planner needs for weddings, meetings and events. The role works with the Sales Department to meet and exceed contract expectations and oversees event execution across departments.

They will maintain AAA Four Diamond Standards and uphold Sunriver’s values, delivering exceptional service to guests, owners, and associates while coordinating detailed BEOs and ensuring client satisfaction from planning

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Catering/Hospitality or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of catering/conventions management experience.

Responsibilities

• Works with sales to plan weddings, social events and group meetings.
• Directs coordination and evaluation of weddings, meetings and events.
• Establishes rapport with planners and clients.
• Determines set-ups, headcounts, facilities, meals, times and special needs.
• Communicates with resort staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Leads pre-convention meetings and reviews billing before processing.

Education
