Moraine Valley Community College is seeking an Events Coordinator for the Workforce and Community Partnerships division. The role oversees planning, production, and marketing of college events, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to standards across facilities and services.

The coordinator will develop budgets, manage vendor contracts, and coordinate cross-departmental activities to promote community partnerships and student success. Flexibility for after-hours events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, hospitality management, or applicable degree.
• Three or more years of business, hospitality, event management, communications, or relevant work experience.
• Budgeting and fiscal responsibility experience.

Responsabilités

• Proposes enhancements to improve event planning and implementation process.
• Develops cost estimates, contracts, and invoices in accordance with college policies.
• Manages relationships with external event vendors and ensures contracted services meet standards.
• Coordinates with other college departments to deliver events.
• Prepares contracts, addendums, and invoices per department standards.
