Moraine Valley Community College is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Career Connections (grant-funded, full-time) to oversee WIOA youth, adult, and dislocated worker programs. The role focuses on staff supervision, program delivery, evaluation, and cross-department collaboration to promote student success.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, and building partnerships with CCWP, DCEO, and community agencies to coordinate services and supports for participants.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, psychology, communications, or related area.
• Minimum five (5) years prior experience in workforce development programs, educational/vocational training, or counseling/guidance related programs.
• Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in managing WIOA grants (Youth, Adult, Dislocated Worker).

Mansioni

• Manage the college’s WIOA grant funded programs (Youth, Adult and Dislocated Worker), including hiring and supervision of staff, planning strategies, implementing activities and measuring effectiveness to meet grant goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with CCWP, Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO), social service agencies, municipalities, educational institutions, vocational training programs, employers, and other partners.
• Plan and implement workshops, provide career exploration, and coordinate services with other college departments for program participants.
• Perform data entry and monthly tracking of grant participants using the Career Connect system; supervise staff and ensure timely reporting of program performance.
• Complete program forms, maintain client files, and ensure compliance with grant requirements; provide follow-up services as needed.
• Develop and maintain supportive services systems (transportation, childcare, meals) for participants by coordinating with community and government agencies.
