Job summary

United Community Center in Milwaukee seeks a Coordinator to work with the Pre-College Director and team to manage logistics, planning, and on-site coordination of events, as well as extensive case management of program participants.

You will communicate with internal and external clients to ensure smooth events, assist with projects and workshops, and contribute to communications, including social media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in social work, education, psychology, or related field.
• Experience or training in youth development and educational programming preferred.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and socio-economic environment.
• CPR, Concussion, and Mandated Reporter training will be required (UCC will support certification).
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics, planning, and on-site coordination of events.
• Provide extensive case-management services to program participants.
• Meet with students/parents monthly for advising and mentoring.
• Collect, oversee, and analyze program documentation and data.
• Create and coordinate program activities and informational sessions.
• Build relationships with schools, higher education, and community partners.
