Job summary

Parable Hospitality LLC’s Oceanpoint Ranch in Cambria is seeking a Sales & Catering Manager to drive SMERF group business, meetings, and special events from prospecting through contracting and execution. You will sell the full hotel experience, build relationships, and coordinate every detail with operations.

You’ll develop creative sales strategies, manage proposals and contracts, and ensure flawless event turnover.

Qualifications

2+ years of hotel catering and group sales experience.

Responsibilities

Prospect for new accounts and nurture relationships to drive group, meeting and catering revenue.
Sell the full hotel experience including guest rooms, event space, catering, AV, and related offerings.
Build and manage client relationships through calls, site inspections, presentations, networking, and follow-up.
Develop sales strategies based on market trends to increase revenue and market share.
Manage the event sales process from proposals to final turnover.
Coordinate events with accurate BEOs and communicate client specs to teams.
Partner with operations to ensure seamless event execution and tastings.
Lead the client experience on event days and serve as main contact during events.
Negotiate to maximize hotel revenue while meeting client needs.
Build market presence through industry events and local networking.
Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and inventory decisions.
Track sales performance and complete required reporting.
