Job summary

The Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel, managed by Spire Hospitality LLC, seeks a Catering/Sales professional in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on soliciting corporate accounts, entertaining and maintaining relationships to drive annual business and events.

Responsibilities include client meetings, property tours, developing menus, and coordinating all aspects of social and corporate events, with emphasis on service quality and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory sales and/or catering experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards.
• Ability to analyze client needs and negotiate pricing.

Responsibilities

• Solicit annual and weeknight business from corporate clients by travel or calls.
• Greet clients, conduct property tours, promote facilities and services, answer inquiries.
• Develop client menus, write contracts, and organize all event arrangements.
• Supervise and coordinate event setup and execution.
• Prepare and distribute banquet event orders and reports.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts.
