Job summary

PCMA seeks a Manager, Event Technology in Chicago to own RainFocus and Swapcard across our global event portfolio. Configure registration workflows, build event sites and mobile apps, and provide hands-on troubleshooting and thorough documentation.

You will collaborate with Events, Marketing, and vendors, travel to North American events for live support, and mentor teammates to expand platform capabilities and ensure attendees have a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical professional with expertise in platform administration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships.
• Wamiliarity with RainFocus and Swapcard preferred; willingness to travel to events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal expert for RainFocus and Swapcard across PCMA’s events portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end technical builds, configuring registration workflows and attendee features.
• Develop specification documents and SOPs for platform administration and event builds.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting during events to minimize disruption.
• Liaise with RainFocus, Swapcard, and other vendors; advocate for platform enhancements.
• Cross-train team members and ensure knowledge sharing across the Events group.
• Collaborate with Events, Marketing, and stakeholders to align builds with goals and brand standards.
• Monitor data integrity and platform performance across the lifecycle; suggest improvements.
• Stay current on product updates and industry trends; travel on-site to North American events.
