Job summary

Confluent in Palo Alto is seeking a Manager of Strategic Events to oversee the tech stack powering our internal and external events. You will configure registration workflows, ensure data integrity, and coordinate hybrid production with AV vendors.

This role requires hands-on experience with EMS tools and strong data analytics capabilities. You will lead on-site tech deployment, manage vendors, and deliver post-event insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in event technology, marketing operations, or technical event production.
• Certified or highly proficient in at least one major EMS.
• Understanding of API integrations and Zapier workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Tech Stack Management & Integration: manage end-to-end lifecycle of event platforms and data flows.
• Virtual & Hybrid Production: coordinate AV and streaming for hybrid events; support live day needs.
• Data & Analytics: build dashboards, track KPIs, ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• On-Site Execution: deploy on-site tech, manage vendors, handle live troubleshooting.
