Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Plano, TX is seeking a Meeting and Events Support Specialist to manage end-to-end execution of 8-12+ daily events during peak periods. You’ll handle room configurations, AV setups, and vendor coordination to deliver seamless experiences for clients and internal teams.

You will perform pre-event checks, provide on-site AV support, coordinate crews, and help maintain conference spaces with a focus on reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event support, meeting services, or AV operations.
• Strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot AV and conferencing tech.
• Excellent attention to detail with multitasking in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to work peak event days (Tue-Thu) and adapt to schedules.
• Able to perform table setup and move equipment for events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute pre-event checks of meeting spaces and verify setup.
• Coordinate crew crossovers for camera angles, mics, and room connectivity.
• Provide on-site audio-visual support for a range of events.
• Manage table setup/breakdown for catering events and activations.
• Perform room audits and test equipment including Horizon Hall and Teams Panels.
• Plan daily operations and manage Planon tickets.
• Support rehearsals and dry runs for events.
• Escort vendors and coordinate special audio requests.
• Conduct monthly AED audits and assist with miscellaneous tasks.
