Job summary

Prospect Park Alliance, Inc. is seeking an Event Support Staff member to help the Events team plan and execute successful events across Prospect Park venues in New York. The role involves hands-on guest assistance, basic maintenance, and operation of common A/V gear.

The position requires reliable individuals who can follow directions, work in a busy event environment, and uphold park rules while providing excellent service to guests and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a customer facing role or assisting in coordination and setup of performances/events.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance before and after events (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, washing windows).
• Assist guests with getting to and from the Litchfield Villa parking lot.
• Greet guests and assist with general inquiries.
• Operate and maintain basic A/V equipment to support events.
• Ensure visitors and caterers adhere to Picnic House Rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
