Job summary

Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site in Philadelphia seeks an Event Hospitality Associate to support the flawless execution of public programs, donor convenings, and signature events, delivering high-quality guest experiences while adhering to program standards, safety protocols, and brand expectations.

In this role you will assist with event setup, registration, wayfinding, and guest engagement, maintain a welcoming presence, enforce policies, support crowd flow, and collaborate with staff

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in live events, hospitality, or guest-facing roles.
• Strong customer service skills; greet visitors warmly and resolve issues professionally.
• Reliability and teamwork; able to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience adapting quickly and troubleshooting during events.

Responsibilities

• Support Event Manager in delivering programs and special events with smooth guest coordination and experience.
• Assist with event timelines, decor setup, signage, and program materials.
• Manage registration check-in, welcoming, wayfinding, orientation, and post-event breakdown.
