Prospect Heights Park District in Prospect Heights, IL is seeking a part-time, seasonal Special Event Staff to assist with planning, setup, operation, and cleanup of park events. You’ll help ensure events are safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for participants of all ages, with hours varying based on scheduled events.

The role requires a minimum age of 16, completion of CPR/AED/First Aid within two months of hire, and successful background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, setup, operation, and cleanup of park district events.
• Follow event plans, schedules, and procedures to support events.
• Provide supervision and support to event participants as needed.
• Interact professionally with patrons, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for events.
• Report safety concerns and incidents to a supervisor.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
