Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Event Staff Supervisor at the Schottenstein Center. You will provide excellent guest service to fans at events and supervise event staff, ensuring compliance with procedures.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in event management, is able to work diverse shifts, and excels in communication and problem solving. This role is intermittent with variable shifts and offers the opportunity to engage with a vibrant community of guests and fellow staff members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an event staff member, or equivalent.
• Experience managing others.
• Ability to stand for 4 hours or more, indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to fans attending Ohio State events.
• Schedule event staff during assigned athletic or special events.
• Verify attendance of staff and complete timesheets for events.
• Directly supervise assigned crew at each event.
• Provide coaching and training to staff assigned to your area.
