Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Portal Chief or Crew Lead to provide excellent guest service to fans at events in the Schottenstein Center. Responsibilities include supervising event staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, and assisting guests during events.

The ideal candidate will be 18 or older, have excellent communication skills, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in various conditions, supporting a diverse team to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours or more, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to maintain and support open communication with Event Management staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to fans attending Ohio State events.
• Direct supervision to assigned crew of event staff at each event.
• Conduct security screening of guests entering our facilities.
