Job summary

Guilford Technical Community College invites applications for an Event Services Specialist to support The Conference Center at GTCC and The Clubhouse at Cameron Campus. The role requires coordinating events, liaising with clients and vendors, and delivering superior service in a dynamic campus setting.

Open to flexible hours including some evenings and weekends; five-plus years in events and hospitality preferred, with strong CRM and Microsoft Office skills to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in conference center, convention center or catering operations.
• Experience managing hospitality vendors (catering, rentals, custodial, etc.).
• Valid NC (or other state) driver’s license and bonding qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events from proposal to completion with clients and vendors.
• Maintain strong client relationships and generate new business via CRM and marketing efforts.
• Provide operational support including budgeting, purchasing and process improvements.
