Job summary

University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus is seeking an Events Specialist to provide logistical support for academic, continuing education, community, and corporate events on weekdays and Saturdays.

The role serves as the campus 25Live scheduler, assists with IT/AV needs, coordinates facilities setup, and works with staff, faculty, and partners to deliver successful events while upholding campus policies and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
• Two-year degree and 4 years related experience preferred.
• Experience with 25Live scheduling and/or higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT/AV support for events and classes.
• Schedule campus events using the 25Live system.
• Coordinate facilities maintenance and vendor coordination for events.
• Serve as campus contact for Saturdays and manage event setup.
• Ensure security protocols and accessibility compliance.
