Qualifications

• Experience working athletics, conferences, or events.
• Strong background in customer service, safety, and security.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Event Coordination: assist with event planning and coordination for commencements, concerts, meetings, student events, and other special events; provide event services for UNC Charlotte venues and basketball/volleyball games.
• Game Operations: assist with game day operations for athletics venues.
• Event coverage includes opening/closing responsibilities, assisting with event personnel, and troubleshooting during events.
• Facilities Services: assist budgeting, invoicing, cost control, inventory, safety reports, payroll functions.
• Technical Services: provide support for sound systems, lighting, audiovisual equipment, and video presentation.
• Building Services: supervise building services staff, setting up events and equipment.
• Maintenance Services: learn preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and special projects.
