Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Services Staff member to join our team for university events. You will help create memorable experiences for attendees with a friendly, reliable approach.

This part-time role requires excellent communication, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to assist with setup, crowd control, and guest inquiries. Prior customer service or hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older; local regulations may apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality or event-related roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet attendees and provide friendly customer service.
• Assist with event set-up, including equipment and signage placement.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness, order, and policy compliance.
• Direct attendees to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist with crowd control as needed to maintain safety.
• Uphold company policies and professionalism.
