Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Event Security team member to ensure safety at our venues. The role emphasizes guest services, rapid incident response, and maintaining a professional presence during all events. This part-time position pays $27.00 per hour and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching.

Availability for nights, weekends, and select holidays is required. Responsibilities include building safety checks, escorting staff and guests, and assisting with lost-and-found

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
• Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned
• Conducts building safety inspections (normally pre-event and post-event safety checks)
• Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
• Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Protects equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
• Provides regular security functions within the arena and related areas prior to, during, and after all events.
• Receives, records, and returns all lost and found items according to established team procedures.
• When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the facility
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
