Job summary

DTCC is seeking an energetic Event Planning and Facilities Management Associate to coordinate with clients, culinary teams, vendors, and workplace services. You will manage budgets, timelines, and logistics to deliver memorable client experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in event planning or facilities management
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
• Strong planning, budgeting and vendor-management skills
• Excellent communication and client-service abilities

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand event vision and requirements and develop concepts
• Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and analyze financials
• Coordinate spaces, catering, furniture layouts, AV equipment, and other logistics
• Source and manage vendors including caterers, movers, cleaners, and event staff
• Oversee daily food service, facilities maintenance, and workplace operations
• Develop event timelines and production schedules with clear milestones
• Coordinate setup, execution, and breakdown and resolve issues quickly
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Conduct food-service audits and report KPI metrics
• Support event marketing and attendee outreach
• Gather feedback to improve future events
• Develop business cases and financial analyses for proposals
• Lead staff supporting food service and events
• Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction
