University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a temporary Event Parking Lot Attendant in the Transportation Services Department. The role involves selling event parking, handling cash and credit/debit transactions, and operating cash registers during various events such as athletic games and concerts.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, be deadline-oriented, and demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities. This position may be extended based on need and funding.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains fee computers.
• Assists in the training of new employees.
• Informs customers of parking policies and acts courteously. Assists customers by giving directions, calling for emergencies, and locating vehicles.
• Exchanges tickets and cash from customers as they enter or leave facilities.
• Ensures safe and doors are locked whenever leaving the booth and at the end of each shift.
• Maintains lots by contacting enforcement for the citation or removal of vehicles that are illegally parked.
