Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Booth Attendant in the Transportation Services Department. This temporary role sells event parking, handles cash and card transactions, and operates cash registers during events ranging from athletic games to concerts.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication, be deadline-oriented, and demonstrate solid judgment and problem-solving abilities. Extension of the position is possible based on need or funding.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fee computers
• Assists in the training of new employees
• Informs customers of parking policies and assists with directions and emergencies
• Exchanges tickets and cash from customers entering or leaving facilities
• Ensures booth safety and doors are locked at end of shift
• Maintains lots and coordinates with enforcement for citations/removals
