Job summary

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center is seeking a part‑time Paramedic to support the Emergency Department. Under RN supervision, you will perform selected nursing‑related activities, respond to code assists, manage patient care tasks, and participate in data entry and specimen handling.

The role requires ED experience or background, along with ACLS, BLS, EMTP, and PALS certifications. Day shifts are typical, with as needed scheduling and a commitment to patient safety and high reliability practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ACLS, BLS, EMTP, PALS certifications required or current.
• Emergency Department background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and assists with patient care under RN supervision.
• Uses ED information systems to enter orders and retrieve data; supports physician communication.
• Maintains EMS equipment and supplies, cleans and restocks areas as needed.
