Job summary

Qualifications

• State of Ohio EMT-P licensure and BLS/CPR certification are required.
• Night shift scheduled; EMS/Code equipment knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to respond to code assists and perform select nursing-related activities.

Responsibilities

• 40% Patient care activities including vital signs, transfers, CPR, EKG, venous access, wound care and specimen handling.
• 40% Clinical information system duties: entering orders, retrieving data, and communicating with physicians.
• 20% Equipment and supply maintenance: locate, clean, restock and arrange EMS/Code equipment.
