Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a PRN Paramedic for the Emergency Department. You will provide immediate patient care under RN supervision, perform essential procedures, and support critical care operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, rapid assessment, and collaboration with physicians to stabilize patients across adult and pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EMS-Paramedic Training Program.
• Current licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) in Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Clinical experience through an EMS Paramedic Training Program.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of an RN.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, CPR and phlebotomy and oral, nasal and/or ET suctioning.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy and saline locks.
• Notify the RN and/or physician of rhythm changes.
• Apply orthopaedic appliances and simple splints.
• Size crutches and teach crutch walking.
• Assist with equipment setup, chest tubes, gastric lavage, LP, etc.
