Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Brooklyn Park, MN to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, and development. You will directly supervise the technical team to ensure efficiency, service, and successful events.

The role involves training technicians, managing event technology setups, and maintaining equipment safety and security. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3–5 years of AV experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• Must complete required training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
• Direct workflow of technicians and advise on operational efficiencies.
• Maintain updated flowsheets and coordinate event communications.
• Lead training for technicians on operational standards and Encore service.
• Ensure security, safety, and proper handling of equipment.
• Attend venue meetings as needed.
