Job summary

Encore in Las Vegas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead on-floor activities, manage a technical team, and ensure outstanding guest service. The role involves coordinating event setup, equipment handling, and collaboration with venue management and Encore's training programs.

You will mentor technicians, uphold Encore service standards, troubleshoot AV equipment, and maintain safety and security procedures during events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet certification requirements as determined by Encore’s program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities for timely equipment setup, refresh, and removal.
• Directs technician workflow and suggests operational efficiencies to venue management and Workforce.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and completed.
• Maintains communication protocols for event management.
• Attends venue meetings such as daily banquet event order reviews and pre/post conferences.
• Troubleshoots AV issues and ensures equipment safety and security.
• Mentors new hires and reinforces Encore’s service standards.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and oversees storage and transport.
