Job summary

The Biltmore Company is seeking a Project Team Driver 3 to lead a crew in event setup and breakdown, operate a box truck, and support exhibits and deliveries. You will ensure safety, quality, and timeliness while coordinating with supervisors and staff.

Ideal candidates have event setup experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to lift heavy items. This is a full-time on-site role requiring reliability during peak event seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in event set-up/break-down or logistics/driving preferred.
• Strong guest service focus with professional communication.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck safely, load/unload event items.
• Provide friendly, professional service to internal customers and guests.
• Sort, pack, and place equipment on racks per standards.
• Set up rental equipment and verify quality on arrival.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization; perform top cleaning/repairs.
• Assist with exhibit installation/strike and related maintenance.
• Lead a small crew in absence of supervisors.
• Operate forklift/scissor lift; move products using carts and dollies.
• Ensure items meet company standards and perform necessary repairs.
• Support custom signage, fabrication, and client builds as needed.
• Provide field support for installations or act as runner for last-minute requests.
• Know drapes and linens handling, inventory, cleaning, prepping and installing.
