Job summary

Capital One is seeking an exceptional Event Coordinator to support planning, logistics and execution of Students & Grads University Events. You will collaborate with University Leads and recruiters to ensure a seamless candidate journey for virtual and on-campus events.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel up to 25–50% during peak season.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of corporate event planning or project management.
• At least 1 year of Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of corporate event planning or project management.
• At least 2 years of Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Be hyper-focused on providing an exceptional candidate experience with each and every event we host virtually and on campus.
• Be keenly aware of the details and communicate those specifics to others verbally and in writing.
• Work closely with University Events leads and recruiters to ensure a cohesive candidate experience.
• Be detail-oriented and apply big picture thinking to local execution.
• Travel up to 25-50% of the time during peak season to support in person events.
