Job summary

Capital One seeks an Principal Coordinator- Event Operations Team to support planning, logistics and execution of Students & Grads University Events. You’ll coordinate event planning, on-site and virtual experiences, and collaborate with University Leads to ensure a smooth candidate journey during a fast-paced recruiting season.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Travel during peak season up to 25-50% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in corporate event planning or project management.
• At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Be hyper-focused on providing an exceptional candidate experience with each and every event we host virtually and on campus.
• Be keenly aware of the details and be able to communicate those specifics out to others through verbal and written communications.
• Work closely with University Events leads and recruiters to ensure a cohesive candidate experience throughout the full candidate journey.
• Be detail-oriented and able to apply big picture thinking to local execution.
• Be expected to travel up to 25-50% of the time during the peak season to support in person events.
