Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking an Events Operator I to prepare and maintain conference rooms and lounges for food and beverage events. You will handle setup, execution, and breakdown with attention to safety and sanitation as per Aramark standards.

You will interact with guests, support conference planners, and ensure rooms are well-equipped and clean for sessions, working as part of a cohesive team across daily lineups and event cycles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English.
• Prefer one year of experience as a Banquet Set-up Person at a hotel.
• Budget time efficiently to ensure rooms are set and ready on time.

Responsibilities

• High level of customer interaction and service.
• Set up Breakout or Workshop rooms according to Conference Planners' specifications.
• Ensure rooms meet standard before sessions begin, using QA sheets.
• Vacuum floors, clean walls/windows, and check lights during setup and breaks.
• Report maintenance items via Work Orders to Maintenance.
• Ensure Breakouts/Workshops have meeting room supplies and refresh after meetings.
• Answer guests' questions or direct to someone who can.
• Work as a team with colleagues and attend daily conference services line-up.
• Maintain safety for self and coworkers.
