Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Events Operator I in San Antonio, TX to manage set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of conference rooms and lounges for food and beverage events. You will ensure rooms are prepared on time, interact with guests, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly. Prior banquet setup experience is preferred, and responsibilities include equipment checks, line-up

Qualifications

• Must budget time efficiently to ensure rooms are set and ready on time.
• Would prefer one year of experience as a Banquet Set-up Person at a hotel.
• Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English.

Responsibilities

• High level of customer interaction and service.
• Sets all Breakout or Workshop rooms according to Conference Planners’ specifications.
• Makes sure rooms are set to standard using the QA inspection sheet before a session begins.
• Includes floors vacuumed and free of stains, walls cleaned, windows clean, all lights working.
• Reports maintenance items by completing a Work Order to Maintenance.
• Ensures Breakouts and Workshop rooms are stocked with meeting room supplies.
• Refreshes all Breakout and Workshop rooms after each meeting.
• Assists guests by answering questions or finding someone who can.
• Works as one team with team members.
• Attends daily conference services line up.
• Works in a safe manner and keeps coworkers safe.
