Job summary

Tekion seeks an energetic Event Marketing Associate to plan and execute a variety of marketing events across trade shows, conferences, and customer gatherings. You will coordinate logistics, attendee tracking, venue needs, and materials, while working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Design, and Operations.

You will support vendor coordination for exhibits, shipping, catering, and on-site operations, helping ensure events run smoothly and on schedule. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, or corporate events preferred.
• Willingness to travel and provide on-site support as needed.
• Familiarity with event registration tools and MS Office or similar apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including trade shows and conferences.
• Coordinate event logistics: registration, attendee tracking, venue needs, and materials.
• Support vendor coordination for services like exhibit setup, shipping, catering, and on-site ops.
• Help manage event timelines, checklists, and project plans to meet schedules.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Design, and Operations to meet event goals.
• Assist with development and distribution of event communications and materials.
• Provide on-site support and coordinate with partners and vendors.
• Track event performance metrics and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Research potential locations, venues, and service providers as needed.
