Job description

Job Description

We are a global, growing digital engineering company with 32,000+ employees in 25 countries, backed by Hitachi – the global leader in digital innovation and sustainable solutions. We are looking for an experienced and energetic corporate communications leader who will help us tell GlobalLogic’s story of engineering impact, both internally and externally. Through proactive media relations and employee engagement programs, the successful candidate will showcase GlobalLogic’s meaningful work for our market-leading clients, the company’s AI-led growth strategy, and our commitment to our people.

The Events Marketing Manager is accountable for GlobalLogic’s most business-critical events, owning each engagement end-to-end, from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event follow-up. As the central point of accountability, this role operates within the Events Center of Excellence and a matrixed marketing organization, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact experiences. While not responsible for executing every individual workstream, this role ensures seamless integration across specialist teams, directly owning the core elements that underpin successful event delivery: logistics, project management, budget, timelines, internal communications, and the interface with business stakeholders and marketing leads.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑driven role focused on driving business outcomes through events. The Events Marketing Manager leads a diverse portfolio, including industry conferences, partner activations, customer forums, and proprietary experiences—treating each as a strategic opportunity to maximize ROI, elevate brand presence, and create meaningful engagement opportunities for the business. Success in this role is defined not by individual output, but by the ability to coordinate across teams, ensure every workstream is delivered on time and to standard, and bring together a unified, high‑quality event that delivers measurable business impact.

Requirements

Expertise

  • Proven ability to run point on complex events in a matrixed organization
  • Coordinating and holding accountable multiple specialist teams without owning them
  • Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to view events through the lens of pipeline, relationships, and revenue, not just logistics

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Familiarity with event management tools and platforms (Monday.com)
  • Quick to adopt and master new technology
  • Comfort operating within a deliberately bounded scope—prioritizing curation and reuse over net‑new production
  • Willingness to travel to support key events and on‑the‑ground execution
Job Responsibilities
  • Own assigned events end-to-end as the event project lead and single point of accountability, from planning through on‑site execution and post‑event follow‑up. Build and maintain the master project plan, timeline, and budget, and keeping every workstream owner on task and on schedule, utilizing Monday.com and other tracking tools as required
  • Own all event logistics, vendor coordination, and on‑site execution
  • Own internal communications for each event, keeping stakeholders aligned on plans, status, and readiness
  • Interface with the business and the business’ marketing lead as the primary marketing point of contact for the event
  • Serve as a super user of standardized event management tools and platforms across all event types, including building and owning event landing pages and registration forms and developing client‑facing executive email communications for events
  • Deliver events in alignment with established event tiering standards and best practices, embodying the events center of excellence in every engagement
  • Explore and implement the use of AI tools to increase productivity and capacity across the event management process
  • Maintain consistent brand presence and high‑quality execution across all events
  • Bring a business mindset to every event—looking beyond logistics to identify and activate opportunities that maximize the value of our presence and investment
  • Direct and integrate the work and input from other COEs (communications, social, growth marketing, etc.) that bring each event to life in a matrixed marketing team—coordinating and holding owners accountable rather than producing the work directly, including:
  • ----- Social and editorial content activated pre-, during-, and post-event to amplify our presence
  • ----- Event sales enablement content
  • ----- Back‑end lead data flow, routing, and measurement integration
  • ----- Development and brand/accuracy QA of event materials
  • ----- Latest positioning, messaging, and stories
  • ----- Alignment with campaign, partner, and regional marketing leads to ensure each event serves their business goals, not just the event itself
  • Track and report on event execution metrics in line with team performance frameworks
  • Support data capture, post‑event reporting, and optimization efforts
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by flagging process gaps and sharing learnings
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Events and fellow events team members to ensure aligned, coordinated delivery

How Time is Spent

  • 40%: Supporting event planning and execution, including logistics coordination and project tracking
  • 30%: Collaborating cross‑functionally with marketing teams to support integrated event execution
  • 10%: Managing event tools, platforms, and registration processes
  • 10%: Supporting on‑site execution and event readiness
  • 10%: Assisting with reporting, data management, and process improvements
