Job summary

The City of Fredericksburg, Virginia is seeking an Event Logistics Worker to plan and manage logistics for various events. You will supervise staff on-site, coordinate with partners, and help with park and facility maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Virginia Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Two (2) years of experience in event operations, event logistics, or a related field
• One (1) year of experience coordinating or leading special events, facility rentals, or public programs

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics for City events, including setup, breakdown, schedules, layouts and vendor coordination.
• Lead on-site event logistics, supervise staff and ensure smooth event execution.
• Manage event equipment from delivery to return, maintaining inventory and coordinating maintenance.
• Adapt to flexible work hours, including weekends/evenings and other related duties as needed
