Job summary

EventWorks is seeking an Event Installer/Driver in Myrtle Beach, SC to operate box trucks and vans, load and unload gear, and transport crews to venues. You’ll set and strike drape and hardware, work with a team, and deliver exceptional customer service at each event.

You will handle warehouse prep, assist with on-site setups, and adapt to varying workloads from 0 to 30+ hours per week. A strong work ethic, reliability, and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service-related job experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding of hotel/convention docks.
• Ability to execute consecutive events while handling stresses and challenges.
• Ability to interact with team members and customers daily and accept constructive criticism.
• Strong attitude and customer service skills.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Maintain professional appearance, reliable transportation, and punctuality.
• Ability to solve problems and prioritize needs on jobsites.
• Ability to handle team dynamics and customer service issues daily.
• Workload varies 0-30+ hours per week based on volume and availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up gear/crew to event venues.
• Prepare for daily scheduled activities in the warehouse and on-site.
• Work with a Crew Leader and a team of Crew Members.
• Load and unload company vehicles at the warehouse and on jobsites.
• Set and strike drape and hardware at event venues.
• Complete warehouse tasks after on-site work is finished.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
