Job summary

EventWorks is hiring an Event Installer/Driver in Texas. The role involves driving box trucks and vans, loading and unloading gear, and delivering exceptional customer service at event venues.

You will work with a crew to set up drape, furniture, and hardware, and support daily operations in both warehouse and on-site environments. Candidates should have strong communication in English, a professional appearance, reliable transportation, and the ability to handle multiple events in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Prior customer service-related job experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding of hotel/convention docks.
• Ability to execute consecutive events while handling the associated stresses and challenges.
• Can positively interact with team members and customers on a daily basis and be open to constructive criticism.
• A great attitude and great customer service skills.
• Can read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must maintain a professional appearance, have reliable transportation, and be punctual.
• Is able to problem solve and prioritize needs while on jobsites.
• Is able to handle team dynamics, and customer service issues on a daily basis.
• Workload varies from 0-30+ hours per week based on volume and availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up gear/crew to event venues
• Preparation for daily scheduled activities both in the warehouse and on-site
• Working with a Crew Leader and a team of Crew Members
• Loading and unloading company vehicles at the warehouse and on jobsites
• Set and strike drape and hardware at event venues
• Completing warehouse tasks after on-site work is finished
• Delivering outstanding customer service
