Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is hiring a part-time Guest Services Staff member for the University of Wisconsin - Madison. You will warmly greet attendees, assist with their needs, and help create memorable experiences at events.

Strong communication and reliability are essential, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service or event-related experience is a plus; pay is $14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and capable of working in venue environments.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; some college is a plus.
• Experience in customer service or event work is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse guests.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays per event schedules.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist guests during events.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming attendees.
• Assist with event setup, signage, and other assigned tasks.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and facilities.
• Guide guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and team members for smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Adhere to company policies and uphold high professional standards.
