Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking friendly Guest Services staff to support the University of Wisconsin–Madison event operations. You will warmly welcome attendees, answer questions, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment.

We value reliability, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to evenings, weekends, and holiday schedules. Prior guest services or hospitality experience is a plus, and a positive attitude helps create memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with their needs.
• Help with event setup and signage.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answer questions about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety.
• Uphold company policies and deliver professional service.
