Job summary

ASM Global operates Dow Event Center in Saginaw, MI, seeking friendly frontline staff to assist attendees during events. You will guide patrons to seating, share event information, and respond to questions while maintaining safety and order.

Applicants should be able to work irregular hours, endure long standing periods, and lift light items. Prior customer service helps, and a valid driver's license is required for some assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in customer service related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer services skills.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required: ability to interact with all levels of staff including management.
• Ability to work irregular hours including, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fills out forms for scheduling purposes.
• Assess area for cleanliness prior to event/clean up.
• Guide seating and provide information to patrons.
• Escort guests to sections/seats, even in dark venues.
• Monitor events to ensure guest safety and report issues.
• Notify operations staff when assistance is needed.
• Greet guests professionally and politely.
• Light cleaning and chair removal after events.
• Stand/walk for long periods and stairs as required.
• Complete incident forms if needed.
