BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security team member for the Dow Center in Saginaw, MI. This part-time role emphasizes exceptional guest service and visible, proactive security presence at events.

You will welcome attendees, assist with setup, and guide guests while collaborating with staff to ensure safe, smooth operations. The role requires a MI security license or willingness to obtain one and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Possess valid MI Security License or be willing to obtain one.
• Must be at least 18 years old; age may vary locally.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service, hospitality, or event-related experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse interactions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities; stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays per event schedules.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting attendees.
• Help with event setup, equipment arrangement, and signage placement.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness, organization and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and facilities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure a safe experience.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain professionalism.
